“As we express our gratitude,
we must never forget that the highest
appreciation is not to utter words,
but to live by them.”
~ JF Kennedy
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to share the power of gratitude. I believe we have a deep human desire to be appreciated and needed. Stop and say thank you for a report, good service at the grocery store, assistance on a project or for feedback will send a message bigger than you can imagine.
Leaders know the power of thanking those around them. Strong relationships are part of the foundation to outstanding leadership and inspiring your team.
Take a few seconds and sincerely thank those around you. Be specific about your gratitude and look them in eye as you say the words, thank you.
Have a very warm Thanksgiving with family and friends.
