Personally, I favor eating healthy meals along with daily visits to the gym for a round of weights and bonding time with the Stairmaster. I know how I feel if more than two days goes by without visiting the gym or some form of exercise. I also know how my body feels after a day of unhealthy foods. If I were to eat fast foods for one week, my body and mind would feel like junk and not perform at it’s very best. It just makes sense, not so healthy nutrients in equals poor performance.
It’s like putting regular gas into your sports car that requires super high octane fuel.
If Criminal Minds could have such a profound effect on the following eight hours, what would happen if I took better care of what my mind and thoughts were before falling asleep?
What would happen if you were to read your list of personal or professional goals before you fell asleep? What would happen if you thought about the life you want? The feelings you want to have more of? What would happen if you told or requested from your mind what to think about during sleep time?
My parents use to say over and over again, “you are who your friends are.” Well, you are what your think, listen, read and watch.
